Updated on 26 June 2026

🛬 Travel & Arrival

When should I arrive?

We strongly recommend arriving by midday on Friday, 27 November 2026.

Why? Because the fun starts before the tournament.

Sticky Waterfalls Adventure

We'll be heading to the famous Sticky Waterfalls on Friday afternoon. It's a great opportunity to meet other players, cool off, and kick off the weekend together.

Friday Night Lights and Registration Party

After the waterfalls, we'll head back to Yaowarate for our registration party and night games.

📍 Yaowarate Sports Complex

🕖 Friday evening

Everyone is welcome! Official registration will also be available before games begin on Saturday morning.

When should I book my departure?

We expect the tournament to finish around 6:00 PM on Sunday, 29 November 2026 (including tournament wrap-up, awards ceremony, and group photos).

Please allow plenty of time for packing, showers, travel to the airport, and potential traffic delays before booking flights or onward transportation.

How far is the venue from Chiang Mai Airport?

The drive between Yaowarate Sports Complex and Chiang Mai International Airport typically takes approximately 1.5 hours.

🚐 Transportation

Is transportation included?

No.

Transportation costs are not included in tournament registration because players will have different travel plans before and after the event.

Will transportation be organized?

We strongly encourage players to carpool whenever possible.

We are also exploring transportation coordination and ride-sharing options closer to the event.

If you would like updates regarding transportation options, ride sharing, or organized pickups, please let us know via email: [email protected]

Tournament organizers will use your email address and phone number to coordinate transport and connect players travelling from similar locations.

Can I share a ride with other players?

Absolutely.

One of our goals is to help players connect and reduce transportation costs wherever possible.

We'll do our best to connect players travelling from similar locations.

Should I rent a scooter?

If you'd like to explore the surrounding area before and after the tournament, renting a scooter can be a convenient option.

There are many scooter rental shops in Chiang Mai city centre, while only a limited number of scooters will be available for rent at the tournament venue.

However, we recommend that you only rent a scooter if you:

- Hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle you plan to operate

- Are confident riding a motorbike

- Feel comfortable navigating unfamiliar roads and conditions

Please ride responsibly and ensure you have appropriate travel and vehicle insurance coverage if applicable.

🏡 Accommodation

Where should I stay?

We highly recommend staying at Yaowarate Sports Complex for the full Chiang Mai Hat experience.

The venue can accommodate approximately 150 players overnight, allowing you to stay right in the heart of the tournament community.

Is camping available?

Yes.

Camping space is available for players who would like to bring their own equipment and stay on-site.

Are there nearby accommodation options?

Yes.

There are several nearby homestays that would love to host players.

Staying locally helps support the surrounding community and keeps you close to all tournament activities.

Here is a list of some nearby accommodations: Google Doc

Should I stay in Chiang Mai city?

Not recommended if you have other options.

The tournament venue is located well outside the city, and daily travel from Chiang Mai would be time-consuming and inconvenient.

If you would like help finding accommodation, please contact the organizers and we will help arrange a place for you.
